Abstract

The association between rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and malignancy is quite complex. Patients with rheumatic diseases in general ,appear to be at increased risk for developing certain malignancies. Data from several studies are convincing that the presence of RA conveys an increased risk for developing lymphoproliferative disorders and there is less evidence for other malignancies.
